Tropical Beach Resorts This resort is beautiful "old Florida style". They are located in the heart of the village on the Gulf Side. They are what I refer to as "wedding friendly" - they embrace weddings and are very accommodating. Small varied units to stay in with private courtyards and tropical lush foliage. There is a public beach down the street for wedding ceremonies. You will love this resort for your beach wedding weekend! Siesta Key Suites Wonderful location in the village on Siesta Key. Just down the road from the beach with sand like baby powder! Hilton Longboat Key Wedding accommodations and travel are easily taken care of Longboat Key. And this is a gorgeous spot to host your beach wedding celebration. The Hilton on Longboat is at the top of the list for me. It is not the typical Hilton, with just a few more than 100 rooms, it is intimate, tropical and is a gorgeous location with many options for your beach wedding and celebration. You can have your beach wedding on the beach, even have your reception in the sand and best of all, there is back-up space that has a beautiful view in case of inclement weather! Check it out, you will love it! You have to get on their calender early, generally there dates are booked far ahead. La Plame Royale This is a small intimate, elegant bed and breakfast located in the heart of downtown Sarasota. Perfect for a small, exclusive place to stay for your tropical wedding celebration. Close to everything! Longboat Key Club As far as accommodations and travel are concerned, this is a very exclusive, high-end resort for a gorgeous beach wedding destination, located on the Gulf of Mexico with beach locations for your ceremony and inside reception options. Courtyard by Mariott This is a beautiful destination right on the Manatee River and newly renovated accommodations with lots of options. Your guests can stay on property, you can have a beach wedding or get married near the water at the hotel and have a choice of wonderful space for your beach theme wedding reception. They have professional staff to work with. Lido Beach Resort These wedding accommodations are located on Lido Beach in Sarasota, this property has been specializing as a destination for beach weddings for a long time. Located near St.Armands Circle, a famous shopping and dining area and not far from downtown Sarasota, it is a great choice. This spot has many choices to offer to beach wedding couples.
