COST This is probably number one of the list. Everything is going to be more expensive because of distance when planning beach weddings abroad. Your guests will pay more for travel and accommodations than if your wedding was happening within your country. TIME You will need to allow more time. More time for planning for you and your guests. A long weekend will not cut it if you are planning a European beach wedding or a south seas island beach wedding. You will want to let your potential guests know as soon possible so they are able to make their personal plans.

PLANNING AND SCHEDULING Organization is at the top of my personal list when planning beach weddings abroad or anywhere else. When you are going somewhere outside of your comfort zone, so-to-speak, there is not a lot of margin for error. So,start early, do your homework and send out save the date cards early - Make lists, check and re-check.
