Beach wedding supplies not to forget for your beach wedding
Beach wedding supplies for your beach theme wedding are kind of like a survival kit. You may not see these items on a regular wedding supply list. Obviously, there are other considerations when you are planning your wedding on the water. Some of these items may vary depending on the time of day that you get married: Sunglasses - If you are getting married during the day when the sun is bright, consider purchasing some inexpensive sunglasses, they can be colorful, decorative or even personalized. Put them out on a table as the guests arrive.Sunblock - Again, if the ceremony is in the morning or early afternoon, this can be in your personal survival kit or treat it as part of a wedding favor, place in mini sand pails on each table at your reception on the beach.Bug spray - This is an essential beach wedding accessory if you are going to be on the beach after sunset. That is when the "no-see-ums" come out in the sand and they will effect some people more than others. Be prepared, have a couple spray cans of insect repellent and you might want to include one of the natural sprays for people who are chemical-sensitive.Battery operated fan - No, I am not kidding! I have used them more than once to cool-off a nervous bride or GROOM!Small cooler with bottled water for the wedding party - You may be supplying beverages for your guests, but do not forget yourselves. You will be somewhere waiting for the ceremony to start and you may get dry.
One of the most important items to remember as part of your beach wedding supplies is a copy of itinerary/timetable for the wedding - Make sure the key people involved in the wedding have copies of this and retain a copy for yourself. Reduce it in a copier and stash in in your wedding bag or give it to your maid/matron of honor. This particularly important if you are not employing the help of a wedding coordinator.List of vendors - Have their names, phone numbers (cell numbers) and times they were to arrive.Umbrellas - These can be casual, like large colorful golf umbrellas or decorative parasols. They come in handy for a daytime wedding or for your older guests. Somtimes these are better options to sunglasses.Straw hats - Not necessary, but fun to have for your guests - you could assign someone to hand them out. Give them to both the ladies and gentlemen. Small foot towels - These could be face cloths, colorful and even monogrammed. They make a cute, usable favor for your guests that are appreciated to wipe the sand off their feet. Roll them or fold them, either have someone handing them out to guests or put them in a decorated basket or a container near the ceremony.
