Beach Wedding Photography

Capturing the perfect sunset - don't leave it to an amature!

Beach wedding photography is not for the novice. Special consideration to lighting comes into play when taking pictures on the beach.

Nothing sets the backdrop like white sand, aqua water, blue sky and a colorful sunset. Many couples dream of standing on the shoreline with their toes in the sand and posing for those beautiful photos near the water. I can't blame them, I have been involved with hundreds of wedding on the beach and I have never seen two sunsets the same, nor have I ever tired from watching happy couples in love exchanging their vows on the water. It is always breathtaking.

Make certain your photographer has experience with shooting beach weddings. It takes a special talent from a photographer to deal with the elements on the beach in order for your wedding pictures to be everything you are hoping for.
Certain colors work better on the beach and will show up better in pictures. I have always felt that soft pastels can sometimes disappear against the backdrop of the sand and water. Stronger shades, more vivid the color, the more outstanding the surroundings become and will appear in your pictures.

Sometimes it is hard to compete with that vivid sunset! An experienced photographer will know there is only a certain window of time to capture the perfect moment!
