Having a wedding reception directly on the beach can be a challenge. But as long as you plan well, it is so worth it.

A tent on the beach not only creates your back up plan but it makes your guests more comfortable and creates ambiance. A party under a tent can be gorgeous. You can have lots of fun and creative with lighting at night!
How about a pool party?! Get married on the sand and celebrate with your reception next to a pool- makes for a beautiful waterside reception minus the sand.

Theme the party! Themes can be something geared towards the obvious, as in the beach or how about an ethnic theme that can bring your family and friends together? Or even use color as a theme.
