Beach Decorating Ideas For the Perfect Beach Wedding Celebration
Beach decorating ideas can be anywhere from very simple to over the top elaborate. The best part of decorating on the beach is that you have a blank palette. The beach, the water and the sky create a neutral background that looks great with any color combination you choose. I have seen the most formal weddings on the beach with elegance beyond belief. I have also been involved with casual beach blanket weddings - and they all worked, because it is the perfect backdrop!
This is a cool idea.........decorate a chandelier with real shells.
Seashells are one of my favorite accessories to use as beach decorating ideas and a perfect theme on the beach. They are not expensive and you can find millions of ideas utilizing seashells for decorations. This can be a formal theme or an informal theme and it works anywhere!

Remember, it is never to early to create your theme, start with the save the date card for your guests - or if you start a website for the wedding plans, theme it! It will build anticipation.
If you are incorporating a tent in your wedding celebration or just want to decorate the ceiling of your venue - these Chinese Lanterns create ambiance and lighting. They can be rented and are not very expensive. It is a fabulous beach decorating idea the the perfect way to add a hint of color!

If you are looking for a real beach party on the beach for your wedding, make it simple. Tiki torches, a big grill for a cookout, casual seating, lots of hurricanes for candlelight, long tables or picnic tables, palms. Start collecting colorful
floor pillows
Don't forget the beach blankets or quilts! Get the steel drums going and fire dancers for
entertainment!
Awesome - Your guests will love it!
Details, that is what beach decorating ideas are all about. Your guests will notice the "little" stuff. It is true. Just a few details here and there will help pull it all together. Remember, the beach itself is a huge part of your decor. You do not have to start from from scratch.
I love tiki torches and because they are so inexpensive, you can use tons of them for creating ambiance. These table top versions are wonderful for
centerpieces
or a great addition to your buffet tables for decoration.
So don't forget - your food is part of the beach wedding decor. Most people forget to think about flowers or some kind of props for the food tables. It is important to ask your caterer what, if they will provide anything to decorate the food tables. Nothing is more boring than a flat line of food in chafing dishes. (boring) Don't forget to ask the caterer if you can see pictures of their food presentations before you sign a contract. Incorporate additional flowers - or even palm fronds for beach wedding decor. We eat with our eyes!
How gorgeous! This couple used palm fronds, orchids, paper umbrellas and they skirted the tables with grass skirts. The caterer utilized fruits to decorate the food displays - quite effective and mouth watering to look at. This was not expensive, but as you can see it creates a colorful theme for decorating your beach wedding. Color is always important in establishing your theme. Linen is great way to do it. If you are on the beach, you have a neutral background and you are free to go anywhere. If you are working with a venue that has color restrictions, like the carpet, maybe a tablecloth with a print will not be an option, but consider colorful napkins or a table runner.
BBJ Linen
has gorgeous linens to choose from.
Tropical flowers
and palms are the perfect choice for beach wedding decorations on the beach. They are hearty and can withstand the heat and sun. Some flowers are fragile,so remember when speaking with your florist to tell them that you are outside, if you are.
This is such an elegant and rustic look that would certainly be appropriate after a beautiful seaside wedding. It is magnificent and timeless. So understated.
