Caribbean Theme Wedding

Plan a Caribbean theme wedding - Listen to those steel drums - hear the sounds of Calypso, Reggae and Bob Marley.... what could be more conducive to a tropical theme wedding?

Now see tiki torches burning, potted palms waving in the breeze-scarlet colored hibiscus and bird of paradise decorating the tables. Bold colors of bright red, yellow, orange and lime green! A tropical parrot (real or fake) hangs in a cage adding the finishing touch to your decor.

Try clear square or round glass containers for centerpieces on your tables. Fill with oranges, limes and lemons - fill with water and add bear grass sprouting from the center. Alternate these colorful centerpieces on the tables. You can add colorful table clothes and napkins for the full effect!

Use palm fronds to decorate your food buffet. Try making a "Pineapple Tree" for the centerpiece of your food buffet. Skewer fresh fruit kabobs and attach to the pineapple tree - serve with a yogurt dipping sauce for a refreshing and healthy hors d'oeuvre for your guests!

Whole fruits such as mangoes, pineapples, melons and papaya can be carved as a garnish for your food buffet. Whole coconuts can be cut into halves and make great containers for sauces and dips.

Use large tropical greenery to garnish the the edges of the food tables along with raffia skirting.
